Spring Break Deck of Cards Workout

Here is a fun workout to do with your friends or family!  All you need is a deck of cards to get started!  You can do one, two, or all four boards (or any combination of the four).  It’s very simple…just flip a card and do the exercise that matches the suit.  The number on the card is the number of reps you will complete.  Face cards are equal to 10 reps and aces can be 1 or 11-you get to choose!  Before you get started, make sure to warm up for 5-7 minutes by walking, doing jumping jacks, hamstrings, squats, lunges, etc.  Stretch for 5 minutes when you are done! HAVE FUN!!!

BOARD ONE

Hearts = Lunges (sets) – forward or backward

Clubs = Plank Knee Tucks

Diamonds = Pli’e Squat or Jump

Spades = Plank Jacks

(face card = 10 reps or sets)

BOARD TWO

Hearts = Side Lunges (sets)

Clubs = Mtn Climbers (sets)

Diamonds = Tricep Dip

Spades = Speed Skaters (sets)

(face card = 10 reps or sets)

BOARD THREE

Hearts = Push Ups

Clubs =Jumping  Jacks

Diamonds = Squats or Jump Squats

Spades = Burpees

(face card = 10 reps or sets)

AB BOARD

Hearts = Sit Ups or Crunches

Clubs = V-Sit Side to Side Taps (sets)

Diamonds = Reverse Crunch/Curl

Spades = Pike Ab Row

Jack =  10 Plank Hip Dip

Queen = 10 Plank to Pike

King = 10 Plank Knee Tuck

Ace = 11 Moving Glute Bridge
